I heard him say it, could not believe it, what a moron.
Heard his show yesterday (original comments) and today (slight backstepping).
Yesterday, he was trying to explain how tough it is to coach football vs managing in baseball, when many of your players don't even speak the language (MLB) and where approx 4% of players/managers have college degrees.
Dominican Republic is a very poor country and terrible academic standing in the world yet Herd doesn't even say that and the predictable twits in the world freak out.
ESPN could have and probably should have taken Herd off the air multiple times in the past for being such an arrogant prick and if not for Herd leaving soon for FOX, I doubt ESPN would have done anything in this case...but this was just an excuse for ESPN to pull the plug on Herd so he could never have his official going away show/week.
This controversy will probably help him draw in big crowds for his first shows on FOX.

I thought today was his expected last show anyway? I'm pretty sure I read July 24th would be his last show when the announcement he was leaving was first made.

total PR move by ESPN. Cowherd has said things just as bad when he was under contract with ESPN. Now they fire him in order to make it look more like hes a racist. The guys been a racist ass for years but ESPN didnt do anything. Its hillarious and total crap that they did it. Just trying to hurt his brand.... which I never liked anyhow.

Talk radio in general just needs to go away. Big money and the quadrillion media outlets have killed the medium with hosts thinking they are bigger than the people they cover or people who listen.
There are only a handful of sports talk radio guys that are pros...everyone else are just clowns like Cowherd.
