Saw this article about the EA sports game and it reminds me of how bad I felt for App & Georgia Southern fans not getting to play their team on the game (for me, it was a big deal... maybe not a big deal to others though).

So, there's a chance that EA brings it back according to this article!

If I'm not mistaken, Xbox one is getting an update this fall that will make all of them backwards compatible.

I switched to FIFA last year when the NCAA game went to pot. Not sure I can afford both, so it'll be a difficult call if NCAA does come out again...

This is when Atlanta Trojan and I played. We picked rainy weather since it seems our game is always affected by rain. Excuse the poor picture quality; I had to sneak this picture. Haha.

I believe it was ncaa 05 or 06 that had fcs teams on it. I used GS like it was my job. People had a hard time stopping the triple option on that game. The game had a glitch where you could still pitch the ball even while being tackled and almost on the ground.

Microsoft is selecting certain games, based on popularity, to be backwards compatible in the beginning and will be adding more them over time.

(I'm actually kind of serious.)

I would've been okay if the rosters were completely fictional (I would argue they were anyways, with the speed and agility ratings they gave Jayson Foster in NCAA football 04, 05, and 06).

This App State fan that went by the moniker Black and Gold Express created an FCS Techmo Bowl game years go. Don't remember how he did it...he had some kind of utility that did it.

I'm also looking around to see what sort of general tools are available. There are a LOT of resources for hacking the game, but they all start beyond my level of expertise. There is this really cool explanation of attributes in the game...

I thought I was the only one...I STILL play my dynasty a few times a week...been running GS dynasty since 2013. 23 straight NC's later, the game is STILL fun!

I run the Auburn offense as it is the closest to what we play, but I did make a combo playbook with a mix of Oregon, Auburn, GT, and some Wing-T and Maryland I stuff.

I was crushed when i found out the year we finally break into FBS, the game gets cancelled. I would have LOVED to have seen the current Paulson in NCAA, but I'm not sure the current version would even be in the game until NCAA 2016 due to the timelines.

I've played NCAA (and Madden) every year since probably the late 90s, I think. I used t love taking over the FCS version of GS with the flexbone and dominate others. It was fairly glitchy and had many money plays...loved it haha!

kdarnell from over on the gsufans board (not sure if he posts here or not) created a downloadable GS team on ncaa 2014. My son grabbed it on his xbox360. He's hilarious with his dynasty, "dad Breida won the Heisman twice" "dad, Breida averages 14 ypc" "dad Breida got drafted #1" so I ask how he's doing since Breida graduated "my new RB sucks, he only averages about 9 ypc" fun stuff.

Not to beat a dead horse with a pipe dream, but now that I look around at stuff, I'm really jonesing for a Tecmo SBC mod. Here's an NCAA hack that came out just this year:

So is there a thread with Xbox 360 gamer tags? Or is there any interest in starting an Online Dynasty from this board? Could be fun, someone with a "current roster" could create a private game then have I think up to 12 people join.

When I played the game, I was absolutely horrible at running the option (even worse was that the playbook they gave Texas State was a BUNCH of option plays)... and stopping the option was an act of futility for me as well.

I ended up firing Fran and taking over as head coach to install a more balanced approach, even though I'd recruit fast QB's to just tuck and run on the money plays.

I'm totally down for it. I'm Ole Sleepy on Live. I'm getting pretty bored with my dynasty now and need a new challenge.

Like someone mentioned, one of our guys created an updated roster for the 2015 season (I believe...if not last year's team).

If somehow we could all agree on various overall ratings for each team (sorry, but Idaho shouldn't be ranked as high as GS, App, ULL, stAte), then this could be pretty interesting.

There is a NCAA forum at Operation Sports were we can get updated teams. I don't know what they gave Idaho as rankings though.

I am trying to figure out how to import the team builder teams for GaSo and App St, we'll also have to pick a team to replace to put them in.
