Anyone know why a few of the freshman weren't added to the updated roster on wmubroncos.com?

Sam Beal, Kendall Hune, and Donte Horton were left off the list. Also, they still have Seabury, Bailey, and Scanlon still listed on the roster.

Unknown about the 2015 guys. Could they still be waiting on academics?

No idea what's going on with Seabury. Bailey isn't confirmed I think.Scanlon saw the writing on the wall with Haldeman still here and the 2016 recruit coming in.

What's the story on the guys who apparently couldn't make the roster? Grades? Homesick? Change of heart? What?

Couldn't tell you to be honest. I can speculate pretty well on Scanlon. He was never going to be the starting kicker after failing to beat out Haldeman. And you just don't need 2 scholarship kickers on a team (Haldeman was put on scholarship last year).

Bailey probably a similar situation. We're getting pretty deep at DE now and he was getting buried. Don't know for sure though. I thought he contributed well last year.

Seabury, I dunno...someone else on here could probably tell you.

TE Chris McDaniel is also not listed. Sam Beal listed as a WR.

Hune was a grey shirt I thought?

Jordan Billingslea gone as well.

Hune was a greyshirt, but it was reported about a month ago he was added as a full scholarship player for this fall.

From whats on the website and if you add Hune and the transfer Rucker, WMU has 83 guys on sholarship going into the fall. I would assume Fleck will give the remaining two out to walkons that have contributed. i.e Sweeney, Mullinax

I went through the roster. There is so much depth at WR I'll be surprised if we don't lose a couple more after this year.

Any word as to where some of the transfers will wind up?

Curious - how many of the players who are no longer on roster were in our #1 ranked MAC recruiting classes of 2013 and 2014?

2013 wasn't ranked first in the MAC. 2014 and 2015 were.

2014-9 gone of 27... 3 didnt even qualify though.

I agree that losing 9 in that class is too many, but the bottom line is getting contributors, and I believe they got 13 solid contributors, 4 future All MAC players, and 3 more who will contribute down the road.

In turn, more scholarships were opened up for 2015 and I believe there are some very good players in that class including French and Kennoy OL, Bellamy SlotWR, Grace LB, Wassink QB, Tranquill DB, Goulbiurn WR.

I'd be more concerned if those losses had severely impacted the classes, but it doesn't appear they have.
