USF Picks up a second FB transfer.
WR transfer from NC St. to USF. Bulls Offense looking up. He'll have to sit out a year but will have 2 years of eligibility remaining. 04-rock

Actually sounds as if Tampa Community College is turning into misfit, malcontent, problem community college.

After Katrina we housed your football team and many other students for free and how did you pay us back - you stole our playbook before our game

I tell you all.. I've been pretty pessimistic on my team lately... the last few years sort of beat the hope out of me. But, I'm starting to believe. Gotta make 6 this year, and then 2016 sure looks pretty bright.

RE: USF Picks up a second FB transfer.
Taggart needs to win 6 this year. I believe in this guy. Ive met him on a couple occasions and he was kind enough to stop and talk to a group of donors while I was on a tour. The man is just a fantastic person. His energy is contagious. Hes had a few bad breaks and some busts (when it comes to players not performing as they should) Last year he was 2 touchdowns from having a winning season... I think he gets it this year.

Hes on track to have another top 40 recruiting class and with the new scheme I think it will work long term. USF is already paying Skippy and our former BBall coach Heath. We cant afford to add another million to the ex coach fund. Dropping nearly $2 million a year for Ex coaches would kill us.

2016 is MADE for USF to succeed. Our schedule is a bit easier, we have the harder teams at home and well have a ton of talent will be eligible, plus our very high rated Olinemen will finally have some age to them. I believe we will hit 6 and that will give Taggart the extra year he needs. Then in 2016 I think 8 or more wins is very doable.

RE: USF Picks up a second FB transfer.
I have been saying over and over. I think this team gets to 6 wins. The defense will be very good and will get better as the year goes along and on the offensive side, there are more playmakers and better olineman. If the QB is half decent and doesn't turn the ball over we will win 6
I break the season into three parts
Part 1
FAMU
At FSU
At Maryland
Memphis
If we come out of this part 2-2 we are looking good, 1-3 it's the minimum
Part 2
Syracuse
At UConn
SMU
At Navy
This is the critical part we need to go 3-1 in this part of schedule
Part 3
At ECU
Temple
UC
At UCF
The last part is a tough but competitive part of schedule. If the team has grown and done what it should in first two parts then going 2-2 here will get us to a bowl
So basically
Part 1 be competitive and try to get 2 wins
Part 2 get momentum rolling and get 3 wins
Part 3 show growth and compete with good teams in league 2 wins

RE: USF Picks up a second FB transfer.
I tend to agree with you. For me, syracuse will be the deciding factor. If we win, we will hit 6.

FAMU (W 1-0)
At FSU (L 1-1)
At Maryland (I hope for a win, but I see a close loss 1-2)
Memphis (I think this will be close. Loss 1-3)
Syracuse (W 2-3)
At UConn (W 3-3)
SMU (W 4-3)
At Navy (Looking at last years opponents, I think they're overrated W 5-3)
At ECU (L 5-4)
Temple (VERY close... coinflip but Ill say Win 6-4)
UC (L 6-5)
At UCF (another coinflip so either 6-6 or 7-5 depending on Temple)

Then I hope for Cure Bowl and we end at either 7-6 or 8-5.

Only two things giving me hope is our better Oline and defense will be stronger. If one QB steps up, we will win. If not, its gonna be a long season.
