I never understood why schools would count turnstile as opposed to tix sold. I'm in sales, if I sell a product it counts as a sell whether the customer used it or not.

The local media demands a turnstile count from us. (Now our new beat writer does not unless instructed) The claim was we were inflating numbers so once they started getting turnstile count it showed we were actually lowballing numbers. Especially last season. We lowballed every gate because the BOT claimed we were inflating numbers. Our AD admitted it to us.

Our case is very rare and I have no problem with anyone counting either way. A ticket sold is a ticket sold. We have all had monsoon games where people stayed home. We had one several years ago where it rained all day after tornadoes and we were chastised for low attendance. I usually bring 4-7 with me and I came alone that game.

Odd. Attendance rocks being thrown in a neighborhood full of glass houses.

For USA, the NCAA had an issue with our numbers during our transition. Our numbers were collected via Ladd turnstiles and were good, but the NCAA didn't accept the way that information was coming from Ladd. So as a result USA only counts scanned tickets. On several games some scanners have broken so our numbers were low-balled as well. In a couple cases the students weren't even counted at all because the scanners couldn't scan the student IDs and they were just brought in uncounted. So we feel you on it.

Is it on the same piece of ground that the dome was supposed to be built???

This could spell the end to Legion, always thought they needed to connect the property that Legion and Rickwood sit on and creat a whole entertainment district there. Would require displacing a lot of low income housing.

South Alabama is proud to have motivated UAB to seek a new stadium.
(This is a reference to a ridiculous article that came out after USA announced their stadium process was beginning. Justin Craft was quoted as saying that UAB was somehow responsible for USA moving towards getting a new stadium)
