You didn't read the article properly. He said we were looking for P5 games, or the best programs in the other G5 conferences. Which is why we scheduled App instead of GS.

I think most are upset with this series BECAUSE we are in CUSA. We are already getting bashed for our schedule. A lot of our fans want 4 P5s for OOC. Well, when we demand 1-1s, thats just really hard to do imo.

In the end, I would much rather play southern teams as opposed to the MAC teams (besides Ohio and Toledo.) I hope we slowly stop scheduling all other MAC teams, and start scheduling more Sun Belt teams in their place.

I would MUCH rather be in a conference with App or Ga Southern as opposed to Charlotte or ANY of the TX schools. I respect most of the TX schools, but TX might as well be Europe to me, I'm not able to go to the games and don't know anyone who goes or has gone to those schools.

Point is, you probably do know people that went to TX schools; just not personally. You just have to do a little research.

Admittedly, I haven't read the seven pages of this thread but why wouldn't App State fans be excited about this series? Personally, I'd love for Georgia Southern to have a similar series with former rivals like MTSU (the Blue Raiders would never agree).

Why the heck would I care if a celebrity went to one of those schools? Am I going to talk smack with him in the off season or during game week?

You probably could. Sanders is on Facebook, very approachable and some of the others have twitter accounts. (just go with it.)

2nd team All-Conference QB Ellison, 1st team All-Conference RB Breida, stud Soph RB Ramsby, top notch D-Line, decent secondary. Lost 4 of 5 OL but they have a good stable of depth to fill those spots (still has to be the main concern for them). I know they lost their leading tackler at LB, not positive what they have returning there. I expect them to give WVU a good run for their money if WVU is not careful. I give GS a good 15-20% chance of winning.

We lost the majority of our O-lne and a solid LB. We got a pretty good OL transfer from UAB and we have a solid starter returning on the line in Darien Foreman as well as a few other guys who got a fair amount of playing time. We also got at huge juco transfer and redshirted a guy or two on the line, so we shouldn't be too bad.

With our QB's, RB's and WR's we will be able to score some points. Upsetting West Virginia is certainly a possibility. However, one Vegas site has us as 38 point underdogs (which is just silly).
