AAC:
1) Houston (Could be great, already a little tension from the last meeting. Sell out stadiums in both locations.)
2) SMU (Possible win and exposure into DFW market. However, I'm not sure how many people would watch.)

ACC:
1) Georgia Tech (Beautiful offense when it's clicking...hopefully not against us)
2) Wake Forest (Probably the only ACC team we could trick into coming to Texas and a possible win.)

Big Ten:
1) Minnesota (Wacker Bowl!)
2) Illinois (We should have beat them this year.)

Big 12:
1) Texas Tech (I met some really cool Raider fans...plus their visit to open Bobcat Stadium was an event I will never forget. Bobcat Pride on full display and plus, with the help of the Raider nation, we were able to sell out our stadium.)
2) Texas (Maybe lightning will strike and we will win...Central Texas would absolutely riot. And full stadiums--at least in San Marvelous, not sure they would be interested in playing us.)

CUSA:
1) UTSA (This should seriously happen every year. Fire up both fan bases!)
2) Rice (They stole our coach. The Owls would lose in OT due to taking a knee on their final possession to settle for a FG attempt to tie the game.)

MAC:
1) Northern Illinois (recent name...no other reason)
2) Eastern Michigan (possible win)

MWC
1) Air Force (Military! Full stadium)
2) New Mexico (Fran Bowl...but UNM also used a girl to score against us last time, not that there's anything wrong with that...)

PAC 12:
1) Arizona State (The Mediocre Bowl! A battle between two maroon and gold public univ football teams who consistently underachieve/choke. Ouch.)
2) Colorado (Poor buffs. Possible win...plus Boulder in Fall = not terrible.)

SEC:
1) Texas A&M (Fran Bowl II...easy trip for both, full Bobcat Stadium against a popular in-state school.)
2) Kentucky (Possible win?)

Independent - Navy! (Best uniforms + military!!)
We already do have a h/h with Houston

We have 9 games scheduled vs UTSA starting in 2017.

Navy is in the AAC starting this year and we just finished a h/h with them.

Can you list (because I don't want to be bothered) teams we don't have games with? Although, since we already had that series with Navy, I'd take another h/h with them as an AAC opponent.

Yea that list is a little off. Louisville isn't in the AAC nor is TAMU in the Big12. Plus there is no SEC in there.

AAC - ECU (In state, old history, this HAS to be forthcoming)
ACC - NC State (State fans are cool. Winnable game.)
Big 10 - Michigan (Duh, time to play at our place.)
Big 12 - Baylor (Jerry Moore's alma mater. Usually a top 10 team.)
CUSA - WKU (We already have Marsha (my first pick). I was looking forward to playing the Hilltoppers before they f***ed up and downgraded their football association)
MAC - Northern Illinois (Sure they play good football up there, but I'm really incapable of getting excited about playing anyone in the MAC)
MWC - Boise State (The midmajor everyone wants to be, so I want to beat them)
PAC 12- Oregon (The class of the Pac 12. Nike U.)
Indy - Notre Dame (Big name with ACCish football membership)

I like it except for the reason NC State. My experience with State fans have never been cool. Would like to beat them though. Would like to see how we show up in Durham or Chapel Hill as well.

My best friend went to State. I spent a lot of time in Raleigh. They were always much more down-to-earth than other ACC fans that I new (especially UNC). The fairground tailgate is top notch too.

I live in Durham, so a H&H with Duke would be cool, I'd just rather play almost any other ACC school though. I'd love to beat UNC also.

No downtown matchup for you?

Nope. It would be nice, but I'd rather pick some schools that could bring some out of town fans, schools in strategic areas of the country, and some that may not get a chance to typically play in Atlanta and vice versa.
Colorado State fans probably won't travel well but that's more for the return trip. I love Ft Collins.

RE: Pick a home and home series from each conference
For the P5 I focused more on the road game since basically all of their teams would be huge to have at home.

AAC- ECU (A lot of History, In-State, and we're the two football schools in NC)
ACC- FSU (I grew up liking them and have never been to a game in Doak Campbell)
Big 10- OSU (We've played UM so why not the Buckeyes? Also like to see a game in the Shoe)
Big 12- Texas (Having the Horns in Boone would be huge, and I'm a fan of Charlie Strong)
CUSA- MTSU (Close road game, we're 0-2 against them, and we already have series with all the CUSA teams I care about playing)
MAC- CMU (There is a Central fan on our board who adopted App as his second team. Why not throw the guy a bone?)
MWC- Air Force (Games with any of the Academies are fun esp. at their place)
PAC 12- USC (Tons of tradition and a trip to the Coliseum)
SEC- T A&M (A trip to Kyle Field is on my wish list)
Indy- Notre Dame (Would love to beat the Irish in Boone)

AAC- Houston [Our largest out of state alumni base, and only 4 hours from Lafayette]
ACC- Duke [Usually beatable, and maybe they will like it enough to send their hoops team ]
Big 10- Maryland (Usually beatable and in metro DC, a good destination])
Big 12- Texas [We've done OSU and TTU, why not the Whorns]
CUSA- Rice [see Houston]
MAC- NIU [Why not? And it's near Chitown.]
MWC- Air Force [Games with any of the Academies are fun esp. at their place]
PAC 12- Utah [I like the state]
SEC- Auburn [Love the town and have family on faculty]
Indy- Army [Hey, I'm an Army vet]

And it doesn't matter if the teams are already on our schedule. These are the h/h series that I, personally, would prefer. If you'd like to make your own list, be my guest. Sorry to "bother" you.07-coffee3

RE: Pick a home and home series from each conference
AAC- Definitely ECU. Former SOCON foes, and all our recent games have been highly entertaining, if not miserably hot. Great fans and we will Noth fill eachothers stadiums.

ACC- NCSU. A fan base almost as insufferable as UNC, just in a different way. Somewhat winnable, and there's at least a possibility of this one happening as they are nowhere near as holier than though as the Heels.

B1G- Michigan. The town of Boone would shut down.

Big 12- Texas. No chance in hell unless Mack Brown becomes AD (even then, less than 1%) but a superpower that's down for now, so a win wouldn't be entirely out of the question.

CUSA - All the programs I care to see, we've already scheduled games with (ODU, UNCC, Marshall, USM) so I guess...UTEP? I don't know, none turn the needle for me.

MAC- There's no one in the MAC I care to play at all really, but I guess Ohio wouldn't be too bad.

MWC- Boise. To quote the great Brett Hart, "To be the man, you've got to beat the man."

Pacific 12- Cal. Beautiful stadium, great history. Somewhat winnable.

SEC- Ole Miss. By many accounts the best tailgating in the country. Beautiful women and classic Southern vibe. Better chance at winning than a lot of SEC teams.

Indy- Notre Dame. Looked really beautiful in that movie, even in it was animated.
