RE: AAC Football Coaches Hot Seat Rankings
I think Taggart is the only one that could lose his job this year, maybe Tulane if they nose dive.

You are right. TU would only make a move if the wheels completely come off. We are still very young and I think they give him at least one year.

Johnson has earned a 9.5 but with our incompetent and uninterested in success AD the hot seat rating at Tulane is more accurately 0.0005

if Uconn is 2-10 again Diaco will be a 8 next year. He has to show some signs of life or show he has a clue what he is doing. I would take a million dollar pay cut and would probably be able to pull off 1-11. Lol but at half the cost.

LoL... apparently Ruffin McNeill has done a good job in "Greensboro"... when did he start coaching Guilford College? Thought ECU was in Greenville?

Probably, but if you're young in year 4, whose fault is that?
Anyway, we are a lot better personnel-wise than we were from 06-12, despite the poor season last year.

Luckily for Tulane a B12 bid is forthcoming.

Take into account defections and transfers from the previous regime and it's not really unusual to be young in year 4

Well he isn't safer than O'Leary (coming off back to back conference titles and is now interim AD), or Fuente (memphis' first share of conf. title ever). He isn't safer than a first year head coach (Montgomery, Morris, Herman). Navy's coach is very safe. And I'd consider McNeil's job to be safer than Rhule's so I'd say those rankings are about right. Personally I think Fuente and O'Leary should be tied for most safe at the least but thats just me. You could make a case Rhule should be #4 because Tuberville should probably be safer than he is coming off a share of a conf title.

How can anyone be safer than O'Leary....? He is literally the AD, he would have to fire himself.

The guy.is untouchable. He could sleep with Hitts's wife, stream it over the Internet, give her an STD and he would still be UCF's coach.....and would likely get a raise out of it.

RE: AAC Football Coaches Hot Seat Rankings
This guy doesn't know what he is talking about when it comes to Tulsa. He said that Tulsa fans he has talked to don't have much confidence in Coach Montgomery. That is a total load BS. Tulsa fans had zero confidence in Blankenship his last two years he was in charge that's true. Montgomery hasn't been here long enough for anyone to form an opinion yet. Personally I think most Tulsa fans have much more confidence in Coach Montgomery right now, than most ever had in Blankenship even when he first started. Montgomery has the pedigree and has been a coach at the college level for a long time. He needs to be given a chance instead of being placed on the hot-seat right out of the gate, especially since his team has never even played a down yet WTF? Yes Montgomery will be starting his Head Coaching career in hole, but that is because the last coaching staff's recruiting was so bad.
