I don't have a problem with it, but I don't understand the reasoning for EMU fans trolling here. If Bronco fans were doing the same on the EMU board or the MAC board, I'd get it, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Bottom line - if you're an opposing school, whoever it is - EMU, CMU, NIU, Toledo, etc. - there's going to be some razzing here of any other school at some point. And I'd expect the same to be true on other sites when it comes to WMU.
If the basis of your argument, though, is that a) we're better than you in non-revenue sports, b) we're .500 against you recently in basketball, and c) we beat you in football two years ago, well, you've got to bring something to the table stronger than that. Our rivals from Mount Pleasant could basically make the same three claims, and if they brought them here, they'd be mocked relentlessly, and deservedly so. Even Arrows wouldn't bring that weak stuff here...
And if your idea of bringing something stronger to the table is making a reference to the lawsuit, it's kind of like a national comic making a wisecrack about Detroit at this point. You may get a chuckle here and there from it, but you certainly don't get any points for creativity or originality.
The funniest thing about this thread has been seeing it degenerate into a shouting match between EMU and Ball State fans.
