I would like to see the SBC go to 12 teams, all having Olympic teams. Football having two divisions.

when the b12 adds 2 teams the only conferences with a round robin schedule will be the sbc and fcs conferences.

The best way to change perception is to end the association with low performing programs and beat some higher ranked teams. Since 2005 NMSU is 23-98 and Idaho is 21-97. Many of those W's were against FCS competition. I have zero against those programs, but the cold, hard fact is they are pulling the Sunbelt down. It's time for those two to bite the bullet and go FCS.

Travel must be hard on the athletic budget for schools used to a bus league.

Only an IDIOT would think that. Ask the opposing Power 5 coaches if they think our teams are "barely more than FCS". If you specifically mean an average SBC team is "barely more" than NDSU, you might have something there.

Well idiot. You might note in this interview with OU's ad Boren he states that one reason for the b12 to expand is because of perception amongst the other p5 schools. If the b12 has to be worried about this I assure you the sbc should especially since it is currently seen as the worst fbs conference and wishes to be seen otherwise.

I'd like anything but 10. Could be less, could be more, but I'd rather not have 9 conference games, and I'd rather not play everyone in the conference except for one (just seems weird).

How many games has Idaho and NMSU won combined against FBS programs not named Idaho and NMSU the last three years?

Two - GA St. and Temple. 2-60 in three years, I think he may have a point.

App adjusted pretty well as you know first hand.

Yeah? How about this- go play Troy and I'll spot JAXST 17 points for $100. Yeah, I thought so.

To be clear, you'd only be happy to play Troy on your terms.

As in a home and home. Which won't happen.

I doubt APP would have a very good record against some of the FBS teams they played over that time...but APP's past gives them an inflated ego.

I dont think many would consider the B12 with only 10 teams small time. especially when they are distributing about 255 million $ this year.

Beating stAte in their own house in our second transition year is technically the past now too.

I'd hate to base an ego on anything else.

Again as an FBS newbie...you haven't experienced having to schedule FBS games as an independent...the schedules can and usually are difficult. It has been years since Arkansas State has lost to an FCS...but APP lost to Liberty??? Loses like that does hurt the SBC image.

I'm going to attempt to connect the dots for you.

My comment was about the last three years, which includes last year, in which App, Idaho, and NMSU played the pretty much the same schedule. One of the three did much better proving your point moot.

App did lose to an FCS program (excellent attempt to change the question at hand), then inserted freshman into the starting line up and beat your program 4 weeks later.

Again..you need to look at the schedule they played in the two years before rejoining the belt. Apples and oranges...

No, already did when I counted their two combined wins.

Do you believe 5 is greater than 1?
