Western Michigan coach on Sirius/XM 91 today
From SS on the GSUfans.com Flight Line forum

Heard the Western Michigan coach on Sirius/XM 91 today

Nice interview with the Western Michigan coach this afternoon on the college sports station on Sirius/XM 91. Talked a lot about his defense and said they had as good a LB crew as any team in America, and a very good defensive line. Didn't say a lot about the offense, but last season the lead the nation in points scored in the red zone. They talked about the schedule and of course GS came up in the conversation. He said that with the QB and RB we have, he would consider Georgia Southern a Top 25 team. Their OOC schedule is brutal - GS, Oregon, Michigan and Ohio State. They went to a bowl last year with a young team, and he feels that the team better understands where they are now. He did say after reciting the schedule that they may have bit off a little more than they can chew this season. Enjoyed his enthusiasm. Should be a great game that we better be ready for.

TOUGH OOC Schedule!

Love the Michigan reference like UofM doesn't exist. Kinda like they do about Ohio even after this http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=320760130

Oregon? Did we drop Murray State to pick up the Fighting Nikes?

I wish we played Michigan instead of State.

We all know that FCS schools can go all Oregon at the most inopportune times.

I salute you for the risk your taking with your OOC scheduling.
BRUTAL for a G5 team. Good luck on 3 of 4 of those games - GSU excluded...... ;-)

Well I was just corrected MajorHoople on your OOC schedule. Seems like I made a mistake. Still a good schedule.

Yeah. There was no excuse for that loss. At all. We made Eastern look good. It's like a drunken 25 year old having sex with an 90 year old with old lady breath. It's just -- "Why? How?" Brings tears to my eyes.
