I hate ESPN3. I guess Morris doesn't want anyone to see SMU struggle with North Texas again. As of right now, it is one of the few game I feel we have a decent shot of winning next season. At least we get a 6pm. kickoff. Maybe local Channel 21 will pick it up.

Folks say you will get better viewing numbers on espn3 than FS1

If we were hosting this game it would at least air on the Fox regional networks.

ESPN3 sucks.

Yep ESPN 3 is = to CBS, ABC, and NBC sports coverage if you ask Sun Belt fan..

I know and it was proved by the MAC this past season when it came out that all their espn3 games averaged 3,000 viewers! Can you imagine! Fantastic!

As an out of state UNT fan, ESPN 3 was terrific! It allowed me to see more UNT games the final year in the Belt than I saw the first year in CUSA.

3,000? That's more than some of their game day attendance.

Now with the ASN deal, you should be able to view most North Texas games on T.V. and the few remaining on the ASN digital network.

My point is that the AAC supposedly signed this great deal with ESPN, but yet our game with SMU has been relegated to ESPN3. I thought ESPN3 was only a problem for the Sun Belt and MAC. Either SMU doesn't have enough stroke to get our game on T.V., or they didn't want this game aired on T.V.

I'll be at the game, but I sure wish more people would get to see this game.

Sure both of us were bad last season, but ESPN has several channels. One of those could have aired this game. Dallas is the 5th largest T.V. market. Even though we are both awful, I think we could pull decent numbers. I didn't think the AAC had games demoted to ESPN3. I really hate ESPN3.

We probably asked not to be shown haha

Well, the crowd at SMU may contain all the people who care very much about the game with the way both teams have been playing over the last year.

games between metroplex teams are fun to go to but not many outside of the metro area would watch on tv unless the pickins were slim.
