Congrats App. We would love a home and home with Marshall. All we have lined up for home and homes over the next few years that I know of are Western Michigan Kent St and Massachusetts. We need a home and home with a CUSA or AAC school.

I'm happy to see some Marshall fans share our excitement. Frankly I was expecting a different reaction.

I think most of us will be happy with this renewal. Rivalries are always important. Great two game series. I'd like to see more

First Wake and now Marshall. If we could get ECU for a H&H we'd hit the trifecta. Glad to see some old rivalries back on the schedule.

KBS will definitely need to get expanded with these series coming up.

I think ECU thinks they're too good to play App or Charlotte now that they're in a powerhouse conference.

Before we truly hated Southern, we had Marshall. They're both so alike.

They have either disappeared, or are saying that when they said Wake Forest and Marshall, they meant Norte Dame and Ohio State.

Hey big surprise, Marshall fans (besides the ones that have posted here) are now too good for us.

I expected our board to be in melt down mode but surprisingly it is not. Once again, I'm very jealous of App's scheduling.

It's like when we schedule UH. Their fans look down on it but the game still sells out.

ECU would be an awesome land, but Southern Miss right out of the gate is what I'm most jealous of. They're the original giant killers even if they are down right now.

I have a few complaints about this series.

#1. It doesn't start for like another 5-6 seasons.

#2. It was only a 1-1. I would have been much happier with like a 2-2 or even 3-3.



If App State brings anything in the 3-4k range then I would say most Marshall fans will really start wanting to be in a conference with you guys. We travel well, and we like it when other teams return the favor.

The current middle schoolers we'll recruit will beat the ones Marshall will recruit!

This is a great get for both schools and it will sell tickets regardless of where both programs happen to be by 2021 and 2022.
I expected a heavy hate for this game like many other fans did here from the many anti-anything App posters who frequented these boards during our transition. Glad to see they have either moved on or stayed in their basements. Once again "the we are too good to play ______" has been found unwarranted.

Anyone, anywhere, anytime should be every G5 program's scheduling process. We all have enough issues with the instate P5 schools using the we are too good for __________, method.

You can expect 4-6 thousand App fans, this is the type of game that pleases even our "stay FCS" crowd given the unique history. I agree with the 2-2, 3-3 assessment, this is a game that would be a huge out of conference rival.
