I really like our chances tonight.

The U.S. seemed to take it personal that everyone questioned just how good they were based on their lack of dominance early in the tournament. They may have gotten some help from the ref against Germany, but they played like an elite team and were the better side against the #1 team in the world.

I'm thinking that we'll have no problem keeping that chip on our shoulder tonight with revenge for the 2011 final on the line.

First half nothing,

4-0 in the first 17 minutes.

The last looked like goals we used to score in high school.

Too fast...too tall...running clock. Japan burned their 3rd sub @ 58 minutes. They're done.

I guess the video option doesn't support Vine,
but here's the Vine of Lloyd from midfield.

'Big Game' Lloyd really left her mark with the Hat Trick and that shot.

RE: OT: Women's World Cup
that shot from midfield was pure brilliance. very quick thinking to realize the keeper was off her line, decide to shoot, and then get the shot off. if she would have taken 1 more step before shooting, the keeper probably blocks the shot.
