RE: What Do I/We Not Like?
Yes, I agree, there are a bundle of negatives and is the reason I started the thread. We need to eliminate or alter most of them and that branding idea is just one change albeit a very important one. Alcohol is also something that might be a tactic to get people in the stadium for sure, if done in the correct manner. Cheaper/free tailgating is something as well. We need an additional space for that. As I've mentioned before, we need to address parking and the "setback" land we alrerady own and lies vacant. And i'm also glad you brought up the "upity" attitude. That goes along with most private schools, but can be eliminated imo by opening up the campus to ALL students at all Tulsa colleges including TCC and ORU, Rogers St, etc that don't have FB on gamedays - with welcome arms. TU sports needs to be Tulsa's team, not just TU's team. All this goes together. In the end its about the experience and event - the happening so to speak and that needs improvement just like the little things such as a sensical brand.

I like the idea (along with others) of opening up campus to students of other area colleges. The student section would probably get a decent boost from TCC students alone. They already allow TCC students to volunteer in the marching band which definitely helps out the band.

Also, I think it would be nice to have free or cheap tailgating on that strip of land along Harvard you mentioned. That would get people's attention to see everyone out their tailgating as they drove by.

RE: What Do I/We Not Like?
I think we could have a guest college or colleges of the week or of the month. The TCC kids don't have much of a campus and to invite them for a visit is something we could easily do. Many of those kids don't just want a 2 year education. Go to their school and have a signup, then have a ticket for them at the will-call window. Limited of course to first comers.

How many students does TCC have? Isn't it like 25,000 or more? Rogers St, even NSU on an open date if possible. Even have a guest school from those other state colleges when they aren't playing. Show an ID, get a cheep seat. Maybe a 2 for 1. That kind of thing.

What I envision is a guest section somewhere in the stadium where only our "guests" can sit and very cheeply. We could even have sponsor businesses for them in a section of the stadium. They would sponsor a section and give out concession cards, stuff like that. Those businesses eventually need employees and prefer kids with a degree. We don't seem to have "sponsored" sections anymore like we did many years ago although I could be wrong. When I was a kid, the first CFB game I ever attended was in the north stands which was mostly sponsored by Page Glencliff Ice Cream. Anyone remember that?

And it also gives us a chance to show off our lovely campus. They probably have friends that attend TU and vice versa to visit with. Just open up the place for a game day "experience". All the buildings, all the facilites including a building tour run by the students already here. Then invite them back at some point for another event. Assign a certain game to certain schools on certain dates. That kind of thing.
