Isaq Williams and Keivarae Russell are two legit future pros that return following their suspension. The skill players, especially at WR and TE are among the best in the country. Temple will have to play out of their minds and get some serious help to win imo. That's simply a reality imo.

Penn State I believe is far more winnable. However, history is not on our side against the Lions. I was at the game last year at Beaver Stadium and we had so many chances in that game but Walker was absolutely horrific. We eventually started to crumble mid-way through the 3rd quarter. Hackenberg wasn't much better but at least he and company were able to produce some explosive plays in the second half.

I think we could be pretty good overall, (7 or 8 wins). Still, I still have major concerns about our offense. Walker and our skill guys would completely disappear at times last year. I still have nightmares over our season finale against Tulane. That was one of the most inept offensive performances I've ever seen in a win...

Nonsense

ND lost to northwestern and an awful unc team scored 40 points on them. I don't think they beat anyone with a pulse last year. Navy, Stanford, Purdue, the worst Michigan team.in my lifetime, rice, cuse. Lol. No one. Lsu in a bowl that lsu gave zero fricks about.

Temple can beat ND. People are gonna be surprised

well sure, they COULD be ND. That's not saying a lot. Any time two teams play one team COULD beat the other one. History is rife with major upsets.

I don't think they will beat ND though.

I understand what you mean Bearcats#1... Upsets do always happen, do keep in mind however, Temple returns a very talented impressive defense but also lacks horses in the offensive side to keep up.

IDK, b/c Temple was left out of a bowl this past season, they're not a happy bunch and that makes them dangerous... I could see them (Temple) pulling an upset here, IMO.

We return with the 4th best D in the nation. The offense will also have plenty of experienced players. I am thinking that we get 7 or 8 wins. I disagree with the comment about the schedule. We got a tough one with lots of bowl teams.
We step up to being one of the top teams in the conference. I think that if this happens, it's good for the conference ...

Hopefully you guys knock off Penn St or/and Notre Dame. That is what the league needs some strong OOC wins. Hopefully 3-1 in OOC with big smack downs of Charlotte and UMass. The league needs to dominate the other G5's and grab some nice P5 wins.

If you guys lose to Charlotte. You will be banned for one year and no one can say your name. The "unmentionable". No pressure 03-wink

I agree, alot depends on how motivated Notre Dame is to play your team. They completely overlooked Northwestern because the Wildcats lost some close games at home, frankly to teams they should not have lost to. Northwestern needed to beat Notre Dame to stay in bowl consideration and they were the more effective and agreesive team that day. It's at the LInc, the Owls should be jacked up for it. Temple beats them and it should be no bowl for the Irish

Doesn't explain unc hanging 40 on the them. They beat a bunch of bad teams and lost to good and average of teams.

Part of ND's problem on defense last year was injuries/suspensions and an offense that turned the ball over at an alarming rate. When Schmidt, the leader of the D, went down things really spiraled out of control. Still, Golston was a disaster at some points last year. He single handedly handcuffed them against Arizona State.

Stanford and LSU have about as big of pulse as there is in college football. Both of those teams bring every game. They definitely follow their coaches lead in that aspect. While neither of them were world beaters last year they were still pretty good. I would have taken either team to win the AAC.

ND returns 18 starters overall including 10 on defense. That doesn't included Russell and Williams on defense. This is going to be a really good team imo.

Also working against Temple is the fact that ND has two weeks to prepare for the game.

Temple has failed to notch that signature victory in football. With that said, I think PSU is the much more obtainable target this year.....
