Exclamation NFL.com's Top College RBs to watch in 2015
9. Kenneth Dixon, Louisiana Tech

Dixon had 27 rushing touchdowns as a freshman and 22 last season as a junior. Want to know why? He hit those marks because he wants it more than anyone else on the field. Dixon combines outstanding stop-start ability with feathery feet, which allows him to weave and slash as well as most backs in the game. Dixon is a creative runner who plays with a level of determination on each run that is so much fun to watch. While he's not small, Dixon doesn't possess natural power behind his pads and has to work harder than most to maximize his carries.

Lol how do you leave Devon Johnson off the list.

206 rushes for 1767 yards, 8.6 ypc, 17 TDs last year.....

Maybe the title has something to do with it, doesn't necessarily mean who is the better back. Dixon is an exciting back for sure, but take away the 99 run and he is sitting at only 1,200 and the 5.1 yd per carry would drop into the 4's. The 22 TD's appears to be the difference maker?

My guess is maybe the author doesn't think Devon Johnson's game will translate to the NFL. Just a guess, not knocking him as a player or prospect.

Evidently there's a threshold that once your stats get to crazy while playing G5 ball it's discounted. Yes I know it makes no sense. However Cato and Shuler should jave been UFAs in a camp somewhere. Shuler hasn't labded in any league. Is he a game breaker? Nope. However every team needs a lossession WR that can keep the chains moving.

Devon Johnson had better be on everyone's radar or it just shows how big of a joke the scouting process is.

Meh, it's one article.

I don't understand why people get so worked up over stuff like this.

I don't think Johnson is necessarily a feature back in the NFL, but he's a football player. I believe he will make the league based on his versatility and will then have to make the most of the opportunity. He'll start his career as a special teams demon and situational back.

It's like his career at Marshall. Coaches wasted two years trying to figure out what to do with him. Special teams, linebacker, tight end, and only found out his skill at RB by chance because they wanted someone to pick up blitzes.

The NFL doesn't give a damn where you played college ball. Who cares about what a random article says. The combine and camp invites matter. Nothing else really does.

For what it's worth I never thought Cato would make the NFL. He was an outstanding college qb, but that means nothing when you don't fit the NFL prototypes.

Kind of crazy to think about. The other RB's couldn't protect Cato so they throw him back there to block and now he's one of the most dominating running backs I've ever seen.

Well deserved for Dixon. The guy is a game breaker.

Boy, that's some great insight. I absolutely hate when someone says that. Really easy to prove. That's like "giving %110". Really?
