You think that would honestly continue if we kept playing?

Yes.

Bill Cosby doesn't seem to agree with us WMU folk (and statistics of Temple not doing well in the MAC after not doing well at all in the Big East prior).

Of course, it would take Temple to use some Bill Cosby elixer to make our team fall asleep to have their way with us to go 6-1 against us in a 7 game series. :)

They used to have a men's basketball program, too.

I'm glad we got Temple out of our conference, and UMass too (this is their last year). However, considering that Temple is set to be at least a decent competitive football team (let's admit it; for the MAC East in these times, they were a good addition) -- and UMass is on their way Up in football to be FBS competitive, I would have LIKED to keep them if they both adopted into our conference.

Having Both Temple & UMass, but also having both basketball teams being the key, IMO, would have been an acceptable move. Having Both in basketball would have made them each more willing to join if both were joining, and with Kent State, WMU, Toledo, and CMU in there, the MAC would be looked upon as a better basketball conference.
