ESPN probably wants AAC and MW pitted against the other 3 G5 teams because who would watch CUSA vs Belt vs MAC?
I'd think AAC vs MW bowls would get much better TV ratings compared to the leftover CUSA/Belt/MAC bowls.
Of course AAC and MW would keep their bowls vs P5 alive, duh.....but a few more AAC vs MW bowls would be much more interesting.
Of course I say this and my Bulldogs cannot beat Rice in the HAWAII Bowl last year.
I really liked the home and home we had with you guys in 2009 and 2010. Great crowds at both venues and home team won both times. Would like another one and one with you.
Here is a pic of the white out at Nippert vs Fresno....great game too.
So go be a mountain goat fan...enjoy your trips to Wyoming and San Jose...but just STFU in the process, please...the folks here want the AAC to do well, and your and Quos act has grown tired and old.
It's the same BS put on repeat played over, and over, and over, and over...
Take a second and read my post to the Fresno fan. I said I would like another home and home...as in OOC home and home with Fresno because it was a good series and we need some quality home and homes. You know, like Memphis and every other team in this conference needs.

LOL so let me get this straight....because I want a home and home with a MWC team OOC, that means in your pea brain that I should join the MWC.
Does this mean you don't think Memphis should have any OOC games? Just play 12 games against the mighty AAC?
I know Memphis fans that wouldn't mind an OOC home and home with Southern Miss...do you tell them to join CUSA?
I really can't figure our what you are saying in your babble.
Logic...try it some time.

do you mean like, me move to the MWC? And if so, what would that do? I'm a person, not a program.
As for UC...I don't really have the power to move them to the MWC. I wouldn't if I could, but that's beside the point. The MWC as it stands today + Cincinnati wouldn't make any sense at all.

It's not as "complicated" as many here and on MW board think and travel would not be an issue, IF!, we were granted scheduling deregulation and full members received about $8MM per year from a healthy TV contract...
To get $8 mill per school, you'd need a $250-$300 mill annual contract. That's heck of a lot of content though. You'd probably need a clean platform, something like NBC sports, ready to back it. But it would be risky.
It also seems like something that would happen should the P5 officially break off.
But on the other hand, P5 is really going to need more content...64 teams isn't enough. This, plus P5 takes things to 90-95, which is about where things were for a long time. But I'm one of the few who actually thinks that most of the strong G5 institutions (emphasis on institutions, but those who invest a reasonable amount in sports) will end up in the P5 by 2030. It may not be 90-95 but I think it will be 80-85. They can't have a NFL model.
