Honestly, most of the responses by UCF Alumni seem to be off. His response used the verbiage; "Soft Mouth". Yet you call my response creepy. Interesting analogy. You wouldn't be a bit selective or biased would you?

I find it weird that you took his characterization of USF's performance on field as a personal attack of sorts, yes. I'm assuming a 'soft mouth' is a euphemism like a 'weak chin', but that's really irrelevant. What's relevant and what I find particularly weird was your taking it personally, with a not so subtle threat of personal retaliation.

For example, if I said USF has been a load of steaming sh*t the past 5 years, it would be weird to state that I shouldn't "write checks my body can't cash". It's weird because I'm not writing any checks or making any claims regarding me at all, I'm commenting on the pitiless nature of your sports team.

What you neglect to point out is; A, He was responding to me, B, His terminology was singular and not plural. He made the comment as if he were directing the remarks towards me personally. As in the originally bolded text. "we smacked you in your soft mouth."

My initial comment wasn't even antagonistic in nature. It was more assertive of factual data. All I asked him was how many wins did his team have. Yet he responded with his soft mouth comment. Now like most UCF fans, "it's always the South Florida or USF fan who's in the wrong."

I think it would be a good idea for both sides to try to start a movement to make one. Simple truth is we arent going anywhere at this point without the other, our hate is actually kinda good for college sports, and were one of the only true rivalries in the AAC.

together we do make a nasty TV package for whomever will give us a chance.... and as much as I do hate UCF, the thought of both of us moving into a Power or semi power conference (see New Big 12) and having an income anywhere close to the ACC would make Miami crap themselves. USF and UCF gaining power is the death of that program. Within 5 years our facilities would destroy that aging program and the top 4 programs in the state wouldn't include them... and to me, that is worth making semi nice with UCF.... If we could knock FSU down a notch too, then its definitely worth it.
