RE: Connecticut's largest newspaper: Ominous Financial Times for UConn Athletics
A lot of fair points. To run a huge deficit year after year, and then be forced to spend even more money, that's a tall order. It sounds like their AD Ward Emanuel is aware of the predicament but doesn't really have an answer. A lot of commentators at the newspaper give the athletic department 3 to 5 years then the budget has to be adjusted to fit reality. Cutting expenses will probably include cutting salaries, equipment, cutting sports, etc.

And yet UCONN is adding men's lacrosse in 2018. I guess your trolling agenda doesn't fit the greater plan of UCONN athletics...

The only thing UConn can do is join the Big East for basketball and drop football... right? That will save the Huskies, right?
Let us look no further than UAB for example... I seriously doubt UConn would want to drop football.
The AAC is a pretty darn good league... Every member currently in this league should focus in stabilizing it's back bone.
I just said that because the OP is a basketball egghead troll who wants UConn in his nasty little Big Least conference...
I know brah... And sorry for the confusion.
Sometimes these trolls need to be reminded that this league is pretty awesome good.

Source? Because the UConn Athletic Department strangely has nothing on this alleged add?

It's cute how much you obsess over UConn but consistently purposefully mispell the AD's name. You aren't fooling anyone anymore. You had an ok run, but you just aren't the quality of troll you envision yourself.

He's an a$$. UConn really screwed him somehow ... maybe his application was denied. Or his college BB team was run over by UConn too many times. If he wants UConn to join the Big East, he's crazy. We're not going back to playing freakin' Catholic schools.
Hatred can consume your life if you allow it. He obviously has no life beyond criticizing UConn. That's sad and pathetic.
