The rest of the narrowing down has been fun.
1. Already have a Home and Home with Tulsa, so it's not them.
2. TM said he's been trying to schedule this series for years now. MTSU and UNT don't fit there because we've only been without them for 2 seasons.
3. La Tech just signed a home and home with UMass. No way that series gets scheduled if we were seriously talking, so cross them out
4. It's a game AState fans will like. UTEP is too far away, so that's out. UTSA is not highly thought of in Jonesboro at all, so that's out
That leaves us with this list:
Rice
SMU
Houston
Tulane
Southern Miss
The first 4 are in major recruiting areas for our program, the last is a team we have a history with who our fans respect probably more than any other CUSA team.
My guess is that it's an AAC school.
