I had not been here in a long time, and didn't know. I am so happy to see the way your wife has managed to be at the stage she is now, 1 year removed from that terrible accident. Always celebrate life!

I've shared your posts with Samantha and she too was moved. She has never posted on this board but she does read it from time to time. She wanted me to convey her gratitude to everyone and say thank you for being there for me while I sat by her unconcious body.

I feel a real kinship with the people on this forum so please do not take this in any other spirit than its intent:

Catmom if we on the board were voting for queen of the Sun Belt you'd win hands down... I swear if you ever get any grief from a GS fan please let me handle it. I do realize the scope of that commitment.

So pleased to hear recovery went so well! Sounds like God is working more than ever in your lives. I think he has a way of doing that to all us who've extended prayers for your family during this time.

Living in the Huntsville area I remember hearing about the accident and also reading your original thread. I am so glad to hear that your wife and son are okay and doing much better. I was involved in very serious head on accident at high speed just outside of Decatur a few years ago in which the young lady in the other car died and it took me over a year to get back to driving normally again. So glad that your story had a happy ending!

We can't possibly understand why trials and crises come into our lives, but God provides the strength and endurance to get through these difficult times. One only has to reach out and accept it. It is obvious you are a family of faith and this orderal has been an incredible demonstration how that faith carried your family through this nightmare. We celebrate and rejoice in the great news of your wife & son's recovery. Thank you for sharing your pain, sorrow and happiness through this journey. It is my hope it will spur others to look deep inside themselves when facing a crisis of their own. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless and enrich your family in the days and years to come.

I'm glad your family is back on its feet, and will say a prayer for its continued recovery.
