RE: 3 money games?
You have to hit the road to earn respect and build up relationships for future scheduling agreements. You should also take into consideration which games would be more likely to be broadcast. It's also helpful for recruiting when you can show recruits the teams you play against. There can be advantages to scheduling like this, especially for an FBS call up that has a lot to prove.

I'm sure it's somewhere in between the first and last...must be closer to 25 since GSU wants 3 a year...on the road

How many FBS conference titles does WKU have?

What does that have to do with my question? Which you never answered. Should I just look it up? Really didn't want to take that much time to scan through all of GSU's seasons.

Nothing. I was just curious about WKU and didn't want to look it up either.

7-1 and 2nd (by 3 inches on a 4th down call) to ASU is the closes Western came to a conference championship in football.

Sure, but 3 EVERY year??? Plus the team you pay to come play at your house has to fit your schedule plus be flexible if TV dictates. Everybody likes to point to Boise but that was a different time for college football, a lot has changed (number of available teams to pay to play, TV was easier back then, plus all the P5 centric changes).

And for us the icing on the cake is that it allows us to fund the highest FCOA in college football at over $6,000 which gives us a huge recruiting advantage.
