I'm liking the Damon factor. He was there when we did the things I liked best. So was Murph, but I guess that would be asking too much.

Eff it.

Bring back Jack! Bring back Jack!

I love my Tigers too (not Jack so much) but it gets very painful to watch loss after loss in games we should have won.
Painful, just painful.

the defense should be much improved...and by extension of Damon working with the guards...so should the offense.
It WILL be a good season.

Equal opportunity free loader.

We are an equal opportunity outfit. We don't discriminate on what color blue you have on, where you went to school, what city you're from, what type of car you drive, what type of license plate you have, if you purchased tickets or not, etc.

We are just glad you're there supporting the Tigers.

So I got some questions about tailgating. I got the idea that there is food there, but you still go to the game...right?

What are the hours?
And people don't fight with each other there...do they? That would just be the pits.

Food, drink, fun. On gamedays usually kick it off by 10am. Yeah we go to the game. Try to make kickoff, but that's sometimes hard to do when you have to break stuff down and pack it up. I'm not getting a cooler or anything else stolen again.

I've never seen a fight. I've seen some colorful discussions. Especially with some punk ass frat boy from Ole Piss. Then again, you have your tailgate lurkers that don't have the nurts to walk up to you and say it to your face and instead would attempt to ridicule you on the internet for supporting the Hometown team.

Just don't challenge me to the bouncy house obstacle course. You'll get smoked.

ON the grill? That's cold, dude.

100% true. 42,000 seats not including luxury boxes would be optimal.

Creating enough excitement to fill a 55,000 seat stadium would be optimal. If Louisville can do it then why can't we do it?

Get rid of 4,000 seats in the south end zone.

The best way to create enough excitement to fill a 55,000 seat stadium is to fill a 42,000 seat stadium. Louisville's stadium is a real gem; all chairbacks, boxes closer to the field.

One thing with the LB that can't legally be duplicated is the sightlines. By law you can't have the same steepness when building new.

Good riddance

I say good riddance also to so called fans like 450 bench. When the tough get's going bail out. I hope if they get their wish about Pastner or if we start making it to final eight or better with Pastner or a new coach. That they want be able to get season tickets because they only support winners. Coach Nix always told us we are winners and winning makes you stronger but running away from defeat destroys you as person.

Fair enough and that's your opinion. As a Brother's boy, playing for coach Nix or Crone or even Charlie, along with other quality coaches before and after CBHS spoiled some of us on how coaches actually coach.
I'm an alum of the university, sent one child through and have on more that will be a freshman here this coming year. I'll continue to bleed blue and gray but I will not continue to support Josh as the basketball coach. IMO, he's killing the program.

I am also an alum as is my wife, son and brother who played baseball for the Tigers from 1959-62. We will continue to support the Tigers no matter win or loose. We will not be part of killing this program also.

I am not saying Josh isn't killing the program. What I am saying is that fans like yourself that aren't going to buy season tickets or donate money while he is our coach. You as fans are also killing this program and I for one will not be part of that as a fan. You talk about coach Nix. Until this year during our loosing or winning years I would see him at every football game at the M Club and most of the basketball games.. To bad you did not learn that from him. The only thing keeping him away is his health. So if the program does go down I hope you feel good that you helped to kill the program that you bleed Blue and Gray for.

That's your opinion and I'll spend my money where I damn please. Who died and made you the authority on how to be a fan and show support? Personally, I'm a fan of the program and not of the coach. Especially this one. I think he's horrible. AND WHILE WE STILL CONTRIBUTE MONETARILY TO THE UNIVERSITY, we will no longer earmark funds to the basketball program as long as Pastner is here.

I guess any potential new coach will be thrilled to know that after you make the NCAA tournament 4 years in a row, attendance will plummet DURING the next season when things aren't going right, and will plummet after missing the tournament once.

Nothing like knowing the fans have your back.

Going to the NCAAt 4 straight years doesn’t mean much when you only win 2 total games and get blown out in 2 more. And what about all the consecutive years we went without defeating any ranked team?

If any potential new coach comes in and has the same results after 6 years, he’ll find his seat getting hot too.
