This is true and I enjoy this board, but I would suggest that if the chances of moving up become so great then some folks may stop visiting and posting. And everyone is worse off for that. The larger CSN board is full of dead boards. The boards died I am sure for a variety of reasons, but in the end they are not active.

I do appreciate you not deleting the posts. The discussion did start with a legit question and reply, and some of the banter has been no more than other silly banter.

Silly banter? Who? Where? I can't believe anyone on this serious SBC forum indulges in such nonsense.

Yes, I didn't see these first in reruns or on YouTube. Kind of dates me, no?

I was 3 when it went off the air, so I don't remember them live, though I do remember what I would guess would be late 70s reruns. I recognized the female actress. Her and Ruth Buzzi are easier to spot than Rowan and Martin themselves.

I appear to have the functionality now. All of my posts are filled with wit, goodwill towards my fellow man, and thought-provoking information...I have no idea what you are talking about.

Ok, I may have had a few nonsensical ones, but only after about 485 or so, and that was just because I was achingly close and desperate for a sense of achievement. Now, I'm 03-cloud9, please don't take my posts away. 01-ncaabbs

For 499 posts you wondered in the wilderness. Now you have reached the promised land. Does it flow with milk and honey as the portents told?

Or it just something so awesome it is beyond words and something that only can be known about by being part of this select group?

Any suggestions for us sub-500 posters?

Just keep plugging away good sir. I have faith that soon after announcing the winner of the 2027 Bubas Cup (Kennesaw State is my prediction) you too will reach the promised land.

Seriously, I have to ask. Is your 20,000 plus posts just for the SB board or is that across all the CSN boards. That is like 7 posts a day for the last 8 years. That is dedication I will say that.04-bow

Ok, not really, but I thought 500 was the number, what gives?

I noticed I couldn't give rep points until CatMom and Chiefsfan cashed their checks.

Well I visted and I am back. Except for a nervous tick I now have, I seem no worse, no worse, no worse, no worse for the trouble, trouble, trouble.

I did get in two posts on topic about Appalachian so I have that going for me.

I need to go to the Pac-12 board and carry on and on about how much I am going to miss being in the same conference as Sanford and UC-Berkeley (for field hockey) and then talk some field hockey smack talk.

Do inactive boards help with a post count?
