Figured it was time to start a new one since day 1 and 2 was approaching page 15

Friday:
FAU vs UAB - 11:00 AM CST
MT vs UTSA - 3:00 PM
USM vs UAB/FAU loser 6:30 PM

2 teams are done and the losers of the last 2 games will be done today. The weather forecast the next 2 days are perfect...81 for high today and 88 tomorrow with 10% of rain so weather should not be a factor.

FAU and UAB are scoreless going to bottom 3....UAB is home team. From a USM point of view I hope this game goes 12 innings or so to wear down whichever team loses as we play them tonight. Temp according to weather.com is 68 so it's perfect for the teams right now

9th inning and FAU holds a 1-0 lead thanks to a solo home run. Great pitching by both FAU and UAB.

Way I understand it is UAB, knowing that football membership was required, is leaving on their own.

Another come from behind win for MT.

Erased a 4-0 deficit to win 5-4.

Yet another game winning run scored in our last at bat (10th this season). UTSA had runners on first and third in the bottom of the ninth with one out erased on a game-ending double play (tied for 7th nationally in that category coming in).

We should be rolled tomorrow unless we can cobble together a pitching plan.

Once you get past our top four guys in the rotation we don't have much to offer as far as starting pitching goes. And the guy who came in relief today was the fourth starter (initially a weekend starter when the season began).

And FIU would - I assume - be throwing their Sunday starter tomorrow.

We could throw six or seven pitchers in the first game tomorrow giving each guy an inning apiece -- no more than two.

Let me first stress that the following is intended solely for the poster quoted, and not toward USM fans in general, for whom I have great respect.

Okay, here goes.

If UAB doesn't bring back football, and has to leave CUSA, I will take some tiny, cold comfort in knowing your last memory of Blazer football is getting drummed out of your own stadium.

We are starting our closer today so as I suspected it will be pitching by committee today.
