Don't have to. We're probably hosting. You're on the road. That's why you play the entire season. Good luck.

Lol what? Yall got shut down. Doesn't have anything to do with hosting.

No, merely lost one game. Not a big thing in baseball, where you're ranked based upon body of work, not one game. Because we have a better overall record, we're gonna be home for our regionals, while you're on the road. Good luck with that.

And the Award for Poor Loser goes to Ghis in a landslide. Congrats on your poor predictions and terrible sportsmanship in the loss. Stay classy.

I see you're campaigning for the AAC sore winner award. Hope you get it, because your a$$ can't get any redder.

Hmm.. Pirates I got your back. Give me the Sore winner award please, because I don't care.

World wants to put us down, but harness the anger and Plunder the Regionals at their place. Let em all talk and walk the plank.

Congrats Pirates - Grab a roller and paint it all purple.

#Undaunted come at me bro.

Totally agree - better to play at a neutral site. Brighthouse Stadium, in Clearwater is a perfect place (except for not being centrally located). Hopefully, after a few AAC teams do well in the CWS, the fans in our conference will show more interest and pride.

Texas - 1
Louisiana - 1
Florida - 2
North Carolina - 1
Tennessee - 1
Ohio - 1
Connecticut - 1

If we take out the northern schools Atlanta/Savannah would be centrally located. If we include them North Carolina or Virginia would be in the center. None are bad options depending on where in Virginia it would be.

Junior, I already congratulated you guys and wished you best luck. But that's not enough for some of you numb nuts. You won 1 game. Congrats. We won the season. As I said, that's why we're hosting. Which do you think was more important?

Bring it to a neutral site in each state represented by the members...in rotation. Wanna bet where the biggest crowds will be? Damn sure was not in Clearwater.

Numb nuts on the season we are 2-2, all time we are 24-23. This is twice we've beaten you in a conference championship game our first year in a conference.

And one of the two wins was the most important game of the season so it's technically at least worth 1.5 games so 2.5-2.

This has absolutely nothing to do with us winning yesterday. You claimed that Houston would hit any pitcher ECU had which obviously didn't happen

I like the neutral site. We all just need to work on getting more people out to the games.

Lets be honest with ourselves, that isn't likely to ever happen. A teams home venue may be the way to go.

The main reason why Clearwater's Brighthouse Field has hosted the Big East and now AAC Tourn is because the stadium is OWNED by the City of Clearwater, hence the sweatheart stadium deal they offered in exchange for preferred room night rates in the city, which brings in hotel taxes and other revenue to the town.

Attendance for this and past tournaments has been minimal and yes, almost any "home field" tourn would bring in more fans but might "cost" more in the end as Univ may not be able to match what City of Clearwater can offer as a loss leader (i.e. stadium they own).
