How, historically, have his off season promises been followed?

When, historically, has he ever made an off season promise?

Only in made up history. I can assure you he didn't promise playing time. Every player and every parent that has ever mentioned the recruiting process has said the same thing. No promises, you have to earn your time. That said the Lawson's will play a lot of minutes this year.

While they desperately need a Godfrey type backup big man with what I think is one last open scholarship, as it stands I bet the minutes are something like this in a close game:

F/C Goodwin 30 (hopefully gets back to SO rather than JR year production)
F/C Nichols 30 (hopefully doesn't have glass ankles)
F Burrell 20 (he/and or Crawford always out there as best perimeter defenders)
G Tarrant 30 (can't overstate what a great pickup this is, will lead in MPG and PPG)
G Kedren 30 (hopefully in better shape, Tarrant will really take pressure off him)
F Dedric 20 (backup PF alongside Goodwin or Nichols, just like King this year)
G Crawford 20 (can't score but defense will get him minutes, sharing time w/Burrell)
G Woodson 20 (just because Pastner likes him and he can hit a spot up 3)
F KJ (odd man out, might get some minutes at the 4 if bigs get in foul trouble)

Someone said earlier Pastner was hoping for a shorter rotation, I hope that's true like the 8-9 man one above although it begs the question whether some of these incoming freshman guards would be better off redshirting like Crawford did.

I think kj will produce more than dedric early on because of his aggressiveness

Just wondering why Martin, Broddie, and Marshall are not on the list? Marshall could be a big help at 6'10" @ 230 lbs.

Coach Pastner, "You can get us now. When I say, 'Get us now,' meaning other teams can get us. But I'm just telling you with our nucleus, what we have, with what we have coming in and we'll continue to recruit, I think the future's extremely bright,"

Tarrant & Kedren will not both avg 30 minutes per game, nor will Woodson get 20. KJ will get 15-20 at the expense of these 3
