Unfamiliar market. With Techs great brand I thought all US markets were familiar with Tech. 05-stirthepot

It's the best win your football program has ever had. 04-cheers

Beating the defending C-USA champ on their field, for our first C-USA away game and victory was better. 04-cheers

I would seriously consider pulling all athletic donations from Marshall if we were to add them.

Having such a well known brand will get you awesome deals like this. I'm sure Terry Bradshaw helped pull some strings.

Cute. Touche! Actually, traveling to play UMass in football reminds me of traveling to play ODU. You know....the whole "FCS transition" thing, etc...03-lmfao I understand we have to do it in CUSA. But I don't know why we're doing it OOC.

Should be a good test for your team. Weren't you 0-2 against FCS or transitional schools last year?

Don't recall. Last thing I remember was a bowl win over a Big10 team...04-cheers

We were bowl eligible and were in every game except 1 which is way better than anyone on this board was predicting.

If Georgia Southern didn't get to go to bowl (and they won their conference!!), ODU wasn't either. But hey, ODU has never had a losing season, something LA Tech certainly can not claim!

Check back after another 100 years so we can make an accurate comparison

Yeah, but ODU has also never had a winning season at the FBS level. 05-stirthepot

ODU's first two or three win season is going to be fun to watch. I don't think UTSA was this cocky when they started off.

Even with one of the easiest schedule in CUSA. Norfolk state?, App state and E. Michigan, that's like a Marshall schedule

Fun fact: CarrSports led the report that influenced UMass to jump to FBS. CarrSports also led the now debunked study that was used to kill UAB football.
