According to Boyd's here are what AAC teams need to do to get into RPI ranges

Houston currently #16 needs to go 3-1 to remain in Top 16 but won't drop below 32 even if they go 0-4. So they are a lock

USF currently #28 needs to go 1-3 to remain in top 45, 3-1 keeps them in Top 32. So they need to go at worst 2-2 to be safe

ECU currently #42 needs to go 4-0 to remain in top 45

Tulane currently #44 needs to go 2-2 to remain in Top 45, 4-0 puts them in Top 32

UCF currently #53 needs to go 3-1 to get in Top 45

UConn #54 needs to go 3-1 to get in Top 45

Memphis #61 has no shot at finishing in Top 45. They might have to win tourney

He mentions Top 45 because as I said only one team under 47 did not get in and that was with a close to 500 record

Tulane loses today so they must go 2-1 vs Memphis to end in top 45 RPI
UCF loses today so they must sweep USF to end in top 45
ECU won so they must go 3-0 vs UC to end in top 45
UConn won so they must go 2-1 vs Houston to end in top 45
USF's game was cancelled so they must go 1-2 vs UCF to end in top 45

It's too bad we have to play the worst team in the conference for our final series. RPI drain.

That's why anything less than a sweep will hurt ECU and will then have to make up ground in the tourney

If USF doesn't win the series against UCF they are in trouble. Not only will they drop to around 35-40 they will also be 3-7 in their last 10 games. Last series win at the beginning of April

I agree if we don't go 2-1 or better. We will need to do well in tournament. Still I like our position compared to rest of league other than Houston

But remember that 3-7 record has been vs #19 Houston at home, at Tulane,at UCF and at Florida also ranked. #7 So no patsies

UCF had another shot against a Top 50 team last night (UCF has played the most games vs Top 50 teams in the AAC with 26) but lost again to UNF.

A road win last night would have helped all the other AAC teams with their RPI.

Here's a glance (as of today) who have played the most Top 50 games in the AAC:

UCF (10-16)
Houston (12-8)
Cincinnati (1-18)
Tulane (9-9)
USF (6-12)
ECU (5-12)
Memphis (9-7)
UCONN (6-10)

If UCF and UCONN were top 50 we would be 12-14 vs Top 50...

ECU rpi now 38, USF 30, Houston 15

If I am understanding RPI correctly, at least it's on the road.

We'll lose 4 of our top 50 wins if Tulane drops out, they currently sit at #50. So, I'll be a Green Wave fan this weekend.

The Tulane Southern Miss game is a meaningless loss. For Tulane. Tulane needs to go 2-1 versus Memphis and win series to get an NCAA at large regional invite.

ECU winning in the 8th 7-1,
