Football Schedule
Was RC the brilliant one who had the idea to play Bowling Green at Bowling Green? This is ridiculous scheduling. We should have 7 home games this years and should not be playing Bowling Green at Bowling Green.

Going to be a tough game unless the DL can dominate.

BG HC Dino Babers is from the Art Briles' coaching tree.

We will have a mostly inexperienced defense on the road in the first month of the season against a pass happy, uptempo attack.

Run to win, pass to score. They have to get the ball away from us.

Exactly, will also be a gr8 game to watch, and prepares us for other teams. Will that game be on ESPN?

They're decent but not world-beaters. If we want to be a football school, we need to routinely win these types of games.

RE: Football Schedule
I am amazed how the football attitude has changed since our success in the 70's. We now have fans that don't mind playing an away game at BGSU.

I wouldn't have picked them as a home and home series. I was just saying that I think we are better than BGSU and should win.

RE: Football Schedule
It will be BG's home opener as well.

The good news is they begin with two consecutive road games at P5 schools- Tennessee and Maryland, so maybe they are a little beat up by week 3.

They go to Purdue after us.

Their AD didn't do them any favors with their OOC either.

Not unusual. Probably how Tennessee thinks when they have to come here

lol, they don't go looking for opinions when they do the schedule...Fuente will schedule who he wants to schedule, and we'll show up and cheer...that's the order of things.
