2. There is a lot of bad information in the Blade stories, so we will have to wait and see how things shake out. One thing for sure is they want some control over UT's residency programs. Promedica only has a few, mostly in family medicine and sports medicine at Toledo Hospital while UT has 15 plus 9 fellowship programs and dentistry.

3. Nobody wanted to deal with Jacobs because he was such a jerk.

4, The new president will be in place before all of this is final. I have a felling she's a lot smarter that the UT board of trustees and will look out for our best interests.

Good info. Thanks.

1. Well, now-a-days, money seems to rule. Big business is often heartless.

3. I've no idea in what way he was a jerk. Jerks are not usually well liked. But, sometimes a "jerk" is just he kind of person you want on your side.

He & Ola, his wife, were always very friendly to me. Always a wave and smile or a handshake if he had time.

I always had positive experiences with them. Ola was an ardent Rocket fan.
Me, too.

Same with me.

Also, Promedica will be building a brand new Toledo hospital and tearing down the old building. They own the old Kroger site as well as the old McKinley grade school site. along with the houses on Jermain. I'm guessing they'll build a new facility before tearing down the old one.
