ESPN UT Recruiting Ratings - 2009-2015
On the ESPN site they rate the college basketball recruiting classes by year. Scores in the 90 are probably the 5 star recruits with the scores narrowing down to the 60's and then NR (No Rating) for some recruits. In 2009 we had three recruits with scores in the 80's (Humes, Dressler and Watson). If I remember correctly only Humes played but eventually lost his scholarship. In 2010 Holiday rated 84 (transferred). In 2011 we had 4 recruits (Mathew (86), Majerle (84) , Brown (80), and Moss). interestingly Moss was a NR. In 2012 (Booth (85), and Lemons and Aubrey Williams both NR). In 2013 Garber, Williams, and Lauf were all rated but Garber was rated highest at 74. Williams and Lauf were in the 60s. Mosley (NR) was the only recruit in 2014. In 2015 only Rogers and Knapke have ratings, although in the 70's. Interesting 2011 was a year with our higest rated recruits but only Juice Brown played all 4 years.. They're just number but make for interesting reading!
