Two trips to San Diego in a year for the Jags? I would take it over no bowl, but would prefer one a bit closer.

I've seen other bold projections placing the Cajuns in the New Orleans Bowl. What's up with that? These guys really push the envelope.

One of two prospective bowls that still await NCAA approval, the as-yet-unnamed game would be the first played in Texas' capital and give the state seven stops on the bowl schedule.

To commemorate this new game, it would make sense to get a team from the Lone Star State into the matchup to help with attendance, and affiliated leagues Conference USA and Sun Belt have a combined five schools. Four of those are in C-USA, but it will be Sun Belt member Texas State to land this invitation for its first bowl bid.

The Bobcats were eligible last year, but the Sun Belt only had three slots and six schools with six or more wins.



Winner: Texas State

I'm good with that. I'm going to SD for the game with SDSU and I'd make a trip for a matchup with Air Force too.

But I lived in SD for 5 years.

Yea. That would be sweet for Texas State.

But wait, for us to get a Bowl we'd have to be at least 6-6, meaning likely 4-4 or better in conference. How can that be? We aren't projected that high by fans here. ( I see us 2-2 OOC but that's just my opinion)
