CMU wins a pitchers' dual (AKA most fastpitch softball games) 1-0 over 1-seed KSU. CMU will play the winner of the Ball St./Miami game which just began.

Ball State hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning enroute to an 8-5 win over Miami. Cards and Central Michigan, now only unbeatens left, will meet tomorrow.

The MAC website has the schedule for Saturday wrong currently. They have the loser of Game 12 playing Saturday, but that team would have two losses, and they don't have the game 12 winner playing.

The MAC app has been a mess. It still shows results from last year, but not this year.

WMU beats Miami 5-4, and KSU just beat Akron 3-2 in 8 innings.

CMU and Ball St. up next with the winner advancing to the championship game. WMU and KSU play tonight in an elimination game before Championship Saturday. The CMU/BSU loser will play the WMU/KSU winner at 10:30 a.m.

Ball State took down Central Michigan 3-2 in 8 innings to advance to the championship game tomorrow.

WMU beats KSU 8-3 and will play CMU Sat. a.m. to see who faces Ball St. in the championship.

Broncos beat CMU 7 - 0 to advance. Will need to beat BSU twice to win the title.

In the top of the first, Broncos up 1 - 0.

Ball St. wins the title, beating the Broncos 11 - 3.

Quite a nice run, though by the 5th seeded Bronco ladies. So close, but still so far away. Would have been quite a feat to beat BSU twice to claim the title. But it wasn't to be. BSU was the 2nd seed for a reason and they showed it.
