Did I miss something? No word on if he was drafted or signed free agent? whats the news

He was a great undersized college QB. No surprise here.

No news is a pretty clear implication. He wasn't drafted or signed as a free agent, unfortunately.

He is going to be an outstanding quarterback in the Canadian Football League.

I thought he'd at least get picked up for spring workouts and training camp.

Good college QB, just doesn't have the measureables that the NFL looks for.

Honestly, this news shocks me. When I saw the thread title, I immediately thought....wait a minute, I didn't see his name come up the entire weekend.

Lots of great college QBs don't get drafted. Look at Case Keenum. Better measurables. Better numbers. Didn't get drafted either.

Yeah, but look at the QB from Northwestern. Not only did he get picked up, but he got drafted.

NFL is more political than people realize.

At times he has been a very adequate back up for Austin Davis

Crazy. Our QB had the measurables, but wasn't that effective as a college QB and he was an UDFA.

I don't like Chuck Landon, but here is an article he recently wrote (with his feet I presume) about how Cato hurt his own chances since his Marshall career ended.

I was hoping he'd get a look and it's still a long way until the season starts so anything is still possible but I wasn't surprised by anything so far.

No one has signed him as an undrafted free agent or at least offered him a tryout spot? Mind blown.
