Your coach's use of pitchers in downright embarrassing. You had Friday night's game won had you left Elder in (or even let Hartman pitch another inning). And why in the world did he bring Glasscock in yesterday after blowing the game on Friday (facing 5 batters-- solo HR, 3 line shot singles and a line shot out back to the pitcher)? Did he really expect a different result?

USM up 6-0 after 6 in game 3. Eagles pitching has yet to give up a run in the series and going back to Wednesday's game against South Alabama we haven't allowed a run in around 33 or so innings.

Listening to today's game and our radio guy stated Marshall has only had 2 baserunners reach 3rd all weekend (through 6 innings on Sunday...Marshall batting now in 7th)

Marshall scores in the 8th to snap the 34 weekend innings streak as well as 39 consecutive scoreless innings for USM pitching

So we _should_ hit the 30 win mark this season again? But I'm sticking to my guns.. no regional visit, Berry goes buh-bye!

I think we will see whether our administration is satisfied with mediocrity, or if they want to take steps forward. Taking an already successful program and slowly letting it sink backwards shouldn't be acceptable. Monken should be reaping some dividends this year, while Sadler shoud be given several years to try to overcome the disaster Tyndall has left us at USM. I like Berry very much, but just how do we just keep on allowing the baseball program slip backwards?. Hopefully, we are catching on fire at the right time and will win the C-USA Tournament at home, which, in my humble opinion, is the only option for us to make a regional.

Padded schedule, inflated win total. Lost series to the good CUSA teams.

What surprises me is the RPIs of the 3 teams we lost/tied to in the Pensacola tournament. We lost to North Florida (50) and Saint Louis (94) as well as tied Nicholls St (77). I agree we should've gone 3-0 in these games (both losses were by 1 run) but they don't appear to be as bad now as it first appeared.....but it's still hard to realize we went winless against the 3. I still trying to figure out WTH happened the first 2 games vs Oakland as well as the home loss to UNO. I know you can't win them all but there's no reason to go 2-4-1 in those 7 games as it appears that those 3 homes losses (Oakland x2, UNO) is going to keep us from at large contention. for us it's win CUSA it bye bye Berry.

I would like to think so, but I think Coach Just Enough will do just enough to convince McG that he's worth a raise and extension.

That really hurts me. UTSA had a RPI of #55 going into game 2. Our RPI is now #62. I am happy UTSA didn't fall too far. CUSA could still get 4 teams into the NCAA tournament.

??? You're dreaming. MTSU would be a third team, but given their overall record and dismal record vs. Top 25/50/100, I doublt they're in by simply winning the regular season title. Of course, there's always a shot at an upset in the conference tournament, but now that we're back to a double-elimination format (as opposed to the ridiculous pool format we followed the past several years), this greatly favors those teams with the most pitching depth. This is where MTSU gets into trouble.

Middle(RPI 61), UTSA(RPI 62) and Southern Miss(RPI 64) are all in the same position relative to an at-large and that's win out and pray.
That probably only gets us in the conversation.

No one in CUSA is going to get an at large birth with an RPI above 35 - 40, and Rice is probably the only one that would get one with an RPI in the 35 - 40 range; especially not with 4 - 5 Big 10 teams as locks and a number of other mid-majors already locks. That's reality.

Not with an RPI above 50, and without a single notable series win.
