I must have missed where the baseball team made four consecutive NCAA tourneys and the worst season was still four games over .500, with a very realistic shot to be top twenty the following season and no knows how much better.
Pretty lame even for a worm.

RE: Cincinnati at Memphis - FedEx Park 6:30
Memphis had a man on forest with no outs. Next better hit a sinking liner to right field. It was hard to tell if the ball was caught. Our runner remained halfway between first and second, hesitated, saw no call, so ran to second...if stayed near first and it was not a catch he gets forced out at second. So then after the hitter crossed first, and the other runner was standing on second...then the umpire on first base signals out. So the runner on second was easily doubled up at first.
It was a horrendous doing of nothing by the first base ump nearest the play. Rock argued for five minutes. It is very possible the ball was caught. But with no out signal by the umpire, the runner was left hanging.
Our next hitter then hit a double, with now two outs, so we thought Rock yelled from the dugout about the blown call. Guess it was Drabik.
Not a rules expert, but on a catch no catch, if no umpire signals out, shouldn't the runners be safe in assuming there is no out? If the first base runner remained near first and then got thrown out at second by the right fielder he would look awful.
Bush league by the umps.
Memphis has been resilient all season after losing the first game of a series. Yes, need to win this series, which will be just fine...then split with UCF and Tulane and sweep Martin.

As i stated earlier the Ump blew the call and threw someone out to take the attention away from the call. If the Ump makes no call then it is assumed that the ball was not caught. Unfortunately this same a-hole will be behind the plate tomorrow. Lord help Drabik if he takes the mound tomorrow.

The shirt was more of a Nuclear, or safety crew green. Cincy kids ate Q from the party deck after the game. The right fielder told me he caught it, and I asked.

Curious as to why you said that - I've never owned a garment of that color (or xx-size) in my life. Do you perhaps have me confused with someone else? I missed that game, by the way due to a wedding supper for a relative.

It was a joke. And you're the perfect choice as the answer to that question.
(because of the whole PMS and brand standard thing, ya dig? Thanks mods.)
