Who would have ever imagined that:
Football and Baseball in the top 25, but not Basketball.
All 3 ranked next year could only enhance our resume for a better conference.

Just shows what a remarkable job that those coaches have done and the unremarkable job that our BB coach has. Not intending to start another bash the BB coach thread but it is what it is.

RE: Who would have ever imagined that:
Nice new sentiments.

It is great that some other athletic teams have cracked national rankings. Hopefully they can continue that.

Man oh man.

How disappointed will some be when our basketball team is again ranked, as they have been for quite some time, an 18-14 singular season notwithstanding. How fast will these folks turn on Fuente if the football team goes 6-6? Hopefully our football team goes undefeated. Should that happen can our...we...fans enjoy that without feeling th e need to dump all over a basketball team that even under the clearly horrendous leadership of our current coach has only made four NCAA tourneys, been ranked quite a bit of the time, won conference tourneys and NCAA games etc...but yes, has come up a game or two short of elite level and did go 18-14 last year, but with all signs pointing to being back in the top twenty this coming season?

Who would even have imagined that?
