Brinkley better be able to go with Carter out, or the Orange rushing attack will be fighting around worst in the nation. Unless I'm missing someone, Brinkley is the only returning guy with over 100 total yards rushing last season.

Everything bad so far has happened, I just hoping Andrew Robinson our QB comes thru. The Orange Offense this year will be hurting that is for sure. We have a FB/HB/RB in Paul Chiara who will get some serious play time now.

Brinkley should be ready to go--he was a 4 star RB

Incoming Freshman Doug Hogue (4 star) is a stud, too...SU rush will be worse (after Carter injury) but not totally down. Our OL looks improved and our WR corps is in the top 2-3 of the Big East.

The freshman may get his chance early for the Orange.

I agree with you. The RB's were not that deep to begin with and Hogue I think will be similar to an owen scmidt, not quite as big.

Crushing...

The bad thing about college teams is that when you know you're in for a horrible season, you don't have a good pick in a draft to look forward to. In fact when you do really well, that's when you get to look forward to bringing in better recruits.

'Cuse can't support many more down years or they will lose their recruiting edge completely. Players won't remember how great the program was in the past.
