If Donovan leaves
Does Chiozza come back into the mix? I don't really know how well he played last year at Florida but losing Donovan I'm sure will cause some guys to transfer out. Who would u rather have Chiozza or Fisher? Again I didn't really follow his year at Florida. Just a thought considering our pg situation. Any thoughts?

RE: If Donovan leaves
He'll stay at Florida once they name Pastner as the new head coach. It's a small world, after all.

Family just didn't have a good taste in their mouth about the Memphis staff and his recruitment, things may have changed over this year but last year that is why they chose Florida.

I don't know if they had any problems with Pastner or his coaching though.

I could fill cunninghams shoes. It was just a thought considering Tarrant and Kedren will both be gone. We will need a guy to step in and pick up those mins. Would be nice to have a guy that has a little experience come in but it's prob just a pipe dream though. Martin, Markel and Broddie seem to be the only guys in the mix that year not sure how good that backcourt will be but I'm sure it will play itself out.

I was making a joke, referring to their shared stature.

I don't know how much Chiozza will develop, but Florida was every bit as mediocre as we were last year.

Florida AD Jeremy Foley will take his time. But Dayton's Archie Miller, Xavier's Chris Mack, WSU's Gregg Marshall have to be on the list.

Why in the world is Josh Pastner not included in this mix? He's been in place as long as Mack. Miller has only been a HC since 2011, so Josh is more experienced than Archie. The only coach who is more seasoned on this list is Marshall. Josh should be a no-brainer for the Florda gig!

The underwhelming response in the Arizona State push probably was enough.

Winning percentage, NCAA appearances, APR, etc.

And no one wants him.

No one.

Speaks volumes.

I got so stoned once that I listened to a Donovan album continuously driving from Memphis to Birmingham.
