Miramar 6-foot-8 forward Orane Chin, who was a first-team Class 6A all-state selection, verbally committed to the University of South Florida, Miramar coach Ken Kelly said.

He will become the first signing for new USF men

Congrats. He is a great recruiter. How good is this kid? He has an Asian last name but he does not look Asian. Great get and great start to hopefully a good season.

Congrats Bulls. Sounds like a good get. Is he an early 2008 signee or a late 2007?

He is a late signee and joins our other recruit
Dominique Jones a 6'4 PG alsa three star by Rivals and #8 in Fla.
We also have two players that sat out last year and will be eligible this comming one.
Aaron Holmes a 6'5 guard/forward that transfered from FSU and he was in Rivals top 150 in 06. he'll have three years at USF
and
Dante Curry a 6'5 guard that sat out last year because of injury, he'll have 4 years eligibility and was also a top 150 in 06.

So if he can get Jenirro Bush and Joseph Katuka a 6'10 forward hee in Fla. then he could have a pretty good team with only one senior in the roster.
of course thats our best player Grandsberry.
Overall he has brought a welcome positive outlook for our hoops program.
