UCONN fans in football: Number of NCs don't matter, series record matters.

UCONN fans in basketball:
Series record doesn't matter, number of NCs matters.

That is all you need to know about that fanbase.

03-lmfao "That's all you need to know about that fanbase" - the strawman arguing Syracuse guy on an AAC board.

Congrats on the 1959 national championship and I'm sorry your team can't beat such a horrible football program in UConn since we joined the big boys. Not a single person on here challenges Syracuse as the more historical program. 6-3 in favor of a team only playing FBS since 2004 is still better than 3-6 all time against a team that has only been playing FBS since 04.

Your "butthurt," as you elequently put, it is getting louder Johnny boy.

Was not the last game a 40-10 blowout? We warned you about Coach P and his sidekick.

Hank...it is a long ways off...but I hope to see you in Aero Club Lot...I'll have some Hofmann's on the grill for you. 04-cheers

Hopefully by then we'll have a few more Natty's to show you. Lacrosse is looking pretty this year.

I do not acknowledge the 40-10 game, but to be fair I also don't recall a 28-21 win in 2011. I've erased the PPGDL years from my mind. 04-cheers

That lot is home base for my group. We'll have to coordinate once closer. It should be a fun 24 months or so for the fans that enjoy the rivalry. There's the 2015 Battle 4 Atlantis in November, 2016 at Rent, that big Nike Tournament Feb 2018, and 2018 @ the Dome. Could be a few oppurtunities for the basketball programs to meet up in those tourneys.

That lot is the top lot for visiting fans I've encountered. AAC fans if you are going to bring a group to UConn send me a PM and I'll fill you in.

Number of NCs in football? Syracuse won one in 1959. I would say that is it fair for UConn fans to go off series record versus something that happened before any of us were born.

As for basketball, UConn's NCs are all recent. Not to mention:

I recall that your UConn guide was really good. AAC fans should read it before they go to a UConn game.

I second this.

Also re: areo lot, it's cheaper, open longer, has indoor bathrooms, and none of the semi-enforced rules of the Rentschler owneed lots. It's a no brainer to set up camp there. Plus the guys from Tap 88 in Hartford set up a free fully stocked bar for tailgaiters to grab a shot on the walk into the stadium.
