SBNation (AAC Previews): The big 2015 Tulsa football guide
http://www.sbnation.com/college-football...ule-roster

quick summarry from articlee:

"Tulsa could find itself in shootouts, and if Young can figure out what to do to restore the D, then the Golden Hurricanes could look more like their 2005-12 selves than the 5-19 impostors of the last two seasons. Assume four to six wins in 2015, then assume a run at something better in 2016."

getting the bottom third above the dreaded 100 ranking line in the RPI would go a long way to building conference credibility

Wow, that's a thorough analysis.

I think Tulsa fans are optimistic about a near .500 record.

he hasnt done houston yet but he did smu 3 days ago.

a summary

"The offense will be better and infinitely more fun. The defense won't be worse. That means SMU will be ahead of where it was for most of last year...I struggle to see a major turnaround.... When you only won one game, two wins represents improvement, and I think SMU will reach or eclipse that. Just don't set the bar higher than four."

I think .500 is a good place to start but really expect more from this years offense for Tulsa. Agree that the Hurricane will have to out score teams to win though. The defense is a long term project.

Agree those are totally winnable games. Tulsa just needs some momentum coming of the gate.
