I see that Lessenberry is currently practicing his craft at Wayne State University, formerly known as the Detroit College of Medicine.

RE: Blade-MCO References
That explanation was an insulting bit of disingenuous nonsense.

RE: Blade-MCO References
So if I follow the logic; any reference in the Toledo Blade to Jeep should be referenced as;

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Jeep formally owned by Chrysler Group LLC - Fiat Group Automobiles Jeep, formally owned by Chrysler LLC, formally owned by DaimlerChrysler AG, formally owned by Chrysler, formally owned by Renault, formally owned by AMC, formally owned by Kaiser, formally owned by Willys Motors, formally owned by Willys-Overland

Afterall sometimes these things don't always work out long-term.

RE: Blade-MCO References
Let us not forget that the local daily rag is titled "The Blade". There should be a subtitle "The Former Toledo Blade". They were known by that name for many more years than their present title.

Maybe they are ashamed to be associated with the name Toledo.

I think Cerberus Capital was in there somewhere as well.

RE: Blade-MCO References
It must suck knowing you have to kiss the Blocks' a$$es every day. That editorial has to be the worst written nonsensical crap I've seen in a long time. After 9 years, they are saying the only reason they keep the reference is because it may not work out - just like it did not with EDS. Maybe every women that gets married should walk around saying I'm Mary Smith, formerly known as Mary Johnson - because you never know, I might have to go back to my maiden name at some point if this doesn't work out. And besides, the Johnson family line was responsible for making sure I came into existence in the first place....

They just keep showing their stupidity over and over - and despite the overwhelming sentiment that it is idiotic, they respond with this as the reasoning. They really don't respect the intelligence of their readers.
