What a beautiful day for the spring game. There were more people in attendance than an average EMU game.

Home, or away?
Doubt if Fleck is evaluating our program against Eastern's.
David Drew's chat said "...there are a few hundred people here...this is kind of boring."
Are students off campus (i.e. Winter Semester is over)?
Ones that were interested might've attended Nekton Neon Night.
Regardless, it's just a Spring "Game," won't really tell much about how 2015 Season will go.

RE: Spring has sprung
My impression was very general. In just looking at the group of players as a whole, they are taller, bigger, more athletic than what I'm used to seeing. Large numbers of the above, not just a few, many.
I kept thinking I was seeing a tight end lining up at wide out. Then I realized many of the receivers are bigger and taller. Once I thought I was seeing a trick play, I said to the guy sitting by me, look, they're putting the tight end way out here. The guy said, yeah, but they sent out a linebacker to cover him. Nope, just a WR and a corner.
Bigger taller faster more athletic and lots of them. Running back is 4 deep and honestly little distance between the 2 and the 4. QB's coming along.
If we can stay healthy, I think our depth is going to wear a lot of teams down. We win the 4th quarter.

It's bonkers that the Big 10 teams can pack their stadiums for these. They are incredibly boring even though it is nice to see football in person again. Might as well go to your university's gymnastics meet.

RE: Spring has sprung
Good to hear these updates. The future continues to look bright.
I watched five minutes of the Illinois spring game yesterday. It was amazing to not hear the name of the head coach once and to hear coach Cubit’s name three times. It is fascinating to me that every time I tune into an Illinois game, albeit not very often, I always seem to hear about Cubit and his offense. I have never personally seen a coordinator being talked about more than the head coach.
