And if so what did you guys think of Coach Kragthorpes offense. I think he'll continue alot of what Coach Patrino did and add some of his offense he ran at Tulsa. Either way I think its still going to be a great offense.

No....Spring game is next Friday night 4/20/07. If nice weather I would expect 30 to 35K to show up.

I think those numbers are a bit optimistic since it is a Friday. We have trouble getting 40K on a Friday during the year when it means something. If we get 20K then I will be happy.

I agree that his estimation is pretty generous. The Friday night comment has no standing though. The only Friday home game in recent memory (maybe ever?) is against Rutgers in 2005. I remember it being a solid crowd in person and after checking the box score, we had 41,000+. It was also a sellout.

I hear it's suppose to be 70 degrees. My guess is...
with rain about 3,500 fans, if it's dry I say about 12,000 fans. Either way, I will be there. And from there, I am going to camp out on the riverfront downtown to get ready for Thunder!

How much to get in? I might want to do some scouting.

Just got here today. I'll give you a call in a day or two once we get the mission underway and I know what the schedule will be like.

Admission is free. Consequently the Courier-Journal had an article saying they think as many as 20,000 could show up for the Spring Game. It will be interesting to see what if any effect weather will play on the game because if it is cold and wet then there will be a considerable drop in attendance.

Yep...on Tuesday...Weather Channel predicts Louisville's Friday weather to be Sunny, high of 68 degrees.

Sounds like a perfect night for a tailgate party and a football game.

Looks like my prediction was closer than expected. If you count the couple of thousand that didn't make it inside we easily had my 30K. Football excitement is at an all time high here in The 'Ville and its only the beginning.

Didn't go to the game, see highlights or read anything til yesterday. If anyone went...please tell me, I heard Brohm was intercepted four times. Was Brohm that bad, the defense that good, or the game just out of control?

Uum, I went. I was not that happy until I got to read some comments in the paper the next couple of days. There was NO running game, though some of the plays were pretty cool looking. I like that misdirection stuff with the hand off coming just as the receiver, full back and RB are going. Sometimes you just don't know who gets the ball. Unfortunately, the play really didn't work well. Two of Brohm's picks were definitely not his fault. One, a receiver fell down on his route and the other the receiver juggled and tipped the ball right to the defender. But Koach left things very vanilla and stated he did not use much of his rushing game. It made me feel better. Then I also realized it was the #1 O vs. the #1 D. All in all it was a great night, especially since they let everyone on the field after the game for photos and autographs. My kids loved running on the turf.
