He is .... definitely a different duck.

Hope he finds what he's looking for and knows it when he finds it.

Well, maybe I'll still get my 6'8" JUCO low post player yet!

Yes...I know...Coach K doesn't recruit JUCOs. Always a first time for everything.

What's crazy is there are a TON of transfers out there right now. Last count is over 450. Many are the immediately eligible 5yr Seniors. Curious to see what moves Coach K makes.

Really not a fan of these kids decommiting nowadays. Words don't mean much. Isn't it late in the recruiting stage?

This one has to be some sort of record.

4/4/15

Quote:Anderson took his time pledging to a school, which he said benefited him in the long run.

“I just really wanted to pick the right school and make sure all the signs were there,” Anderson said. “I wanted to take my time and make sure to find the right place for me. Some colleges came and went, so it wasn't really real, but Toledo, ever since they offered, showed that they really wanted me.”

I don't know much about twitter but it appears his account "deactivated?"

I'm thinking, more to the story. Hope all is well with the kid.

Interesting to see where he lands. Would have been a nice get. Not alot of players his size and skills around still for 2015.

Local kid (D. Wiggins 6-9 230) out of Springfield is generating some interest. Do not know if Coach K is recruiting him hard or not.

Yes. Really bummed out about this. Two athletic 6-8 forwards in the front court for four years could have made a giant impact for the program.

Don't know what coach K's plans are, but I'll guess he wants to sign another player. I suppose Anderson could have a change of heart, but who knows where that might go. I like 6-6 WF Austin Burnette a lot. Nice shooter, handles the ball well, good, but not great, athlete. A couple of local kids in 6-6 Ben Casanova from Southview, but I'm not sure he's athletic enough. His coach is really high on him as a DI player. First team all-state. Rated the #2 player in the metro area by the Blade. 6-9 Demajeo Wiggins from Springfield has an offer from BG if that still holds. Kind of an under-achiever. Some sources say he has a UT offer. Not sure how Stan would figure in that equation. #8 player in the area by the Blade.

I'm with you on the last sentence. He's gone to three different high schools and now this.

It looks like Tony Anderson is considering Kansas State as he reports they are showing strong interest. He probably thinks now that he can do better than a Mid Major Program like Toledo!

The Kansas state speculation is probably accurate once he got a perceived better offer he jumped I just hope is did not cost us another player in his size range.

Wesson will really need to beef up if he wants to play D1.

If he heads to K State he'll join up with another UT de-commit, PG Kamau Stokes. So much for being close to home so his parents can come to his games.
