I don't know how it ended but I would venture to say yes, we should go after him.

Hard to say if we need him anymore at this point. If he really is an Ohio State-level talent, then we'd be crazy not to.
If not at WR, then definitely as a DB. His JUCO film looks awesome.

I couldn't find anything about Johnson committing. We offered Tyrone Miller after he decommit red from CMU and he went to Kansas, maybe you're thinking of him.
